HUCK'S DEFEAT: The Battle That Turned the Tide Against the British Invasion of South Carolina
Edgar Michael Bravo of No Restrictions Studios, SC—Spartanburg, a visionary writer and director of eight feature films distributed worldwide, is co-writing "Huck’s Defeat" with award-winning Spartanburg author Richard C. Meehan, Jr. Bravo will soon direct this movie, which is slated for production in 2025. It will be the first picture to highlight South Carolina’s significant contributions to the Revolutionary War since "The Patriot," released in 2000.
"Huck’s Defeat" is based on the story of patriot Martha Bratton and the Battle of Williamson’s Plantation. It will serve as the first installment in a planned series that explores the human drama faced by patriots as they fought to prevent the British Legion and their Loyalist allies from occupying South Carolina. The project is dedicated to accurately and authentically portraying the characters and events crucial to securing our freedom.
THE LIFE OF DR. MCCLAREN
Based on the true story of Dr Edward E McClaren, born in 1902 in the poorest county of South Carolina. He overcame unbelievable obstacles to become a doctor during the Jim Crow segregation era and helped the African-American community who desperately needed medical help.
JULIE LOVES TO GAMBLE
